Shelves are intended to mount to the pedestal sides and have been tested to hold up to 250 lbs. Recommended to have a maximum of two shelves per pedestal. Shelves are coated in Plastikote coating to protect mobile devices from scratches. Shelf set includes two shelves and four self tapping screws. Recommended mounting area is anywhere below the bottom of the door opening. A maximum of two pairs of shelves per pedestal is recommended
