The Quantum NDX-8 Series NAS storage units provide simplified data protection for small businesses. The NDX-8d comes preconfigured with DATASTOR Shield data deduplication software and performs an agentless client backup, meaning there is no software to install on the clients being protected either. In addition, customer's save up to 75% on backup software licensing and support using DATASTOR Shield. Deduplication provides up to 90% reduction in backup related network traffic and data stored. The disaster recovery options include replication to a 2nd NDX-8d or offsite to a Quantum RDX 8000.
